Upcoming Event on November 15, 2025. Location: WVU Medicine Children's Hospital 10th Floor The Extra Life Guild will be hosting a variety of fun games for the patients (current and past) to enjoy. The goal is to provide the patients a mini-convention like experience. More details to come.

CharCon 2024 is being held in Charleston, WV on July 11-13; each year, Travis and his team welcomes us back and supports us in any ideas we have for fundraising. In 2023, we disturbed many games by walking around with a treasure chest to sell raffle ticket. In 2024, we leveled that up by introducing ConQuests to the convention. ConQuests is returning in 2025. Tsubasacon 2025 took place over the weekend of October 10-12, 2025. The theme was Yokai, and the Extra Life team decorated the booth and wrote their ConQuest story line around this theme. In terms of ConQuest story line, convention attendees were sent out on quest steps to help the team in their efforts to build a festival by collecting snacks for the Extra Life Yokai, find missing mask, play mini-games, and thank the vendors for helping make Tsubasacon 2025 amazing. At the booth, the team prepared a few mini-games for the attendees to enjoy in exchange for small prizes. The fishing mini-game was a huge hit; a few people dropped well over $20 in donations trying to find the elusive #1 fish offering the best prizes. There was a Japanese string game and another Gachapon (capsule machine), which has been a staple at many recent Extra Life events. The team was able to raise $750 for WVU Medicine Children's Hospital over the three day weekend. Thank you to the team as well as well two WVU students who helped on Friday.

1D4Con is a staple gaming convention for West Virginia's eastern panhandle; it took place on March 28-30, 2025. It's solid focus on Tabletop Roleplay Games with some board game and miniature game is always a welcome experience. James and his staff are welcoming and spend a lot of time the year leading up to each event planning and doing everything possible to make the convention a huge success. This year it was located in Charles Town, WV at the Clarion Inn Harpers Ferry-Charles Town, which is the third year at this location. The ticket sales sustain the convention and help pay for the venue while the many raffles it hosts is always dedicated to charity. This year (and last year) it was split 50/50 between Extra Life and supporting a Convention regular who has fallen on hard times. The raffles raised almost $2,500. There were additional donations made directly to Extra Life in the board game room. Raised $1,267 for WVU Medicine Children's Hospital.

WV PopCon is an annual convnention that takes place annually in Morgantown, WV; this year it is occurring during the August 23-24, 2024 weekend.
